To tie into a major Kubrick DVD release, Cinemax assigned me to put together this featurette using film and interview clips. No, I didn’t get to interview Tom and Nicole, but my team did interview two of my favorite actors – Malcolm McDowell and the immortal R. Lee Ermey. While I couldn’t do either of those interviews due to budget reasons (sigh), I did interview Keir Dullea and Sydney Pollack – both were wonderful. Funnily enough Tom Cruise was classy enough to have his manager tell HBO’s Business Affairs to “Tell whoever did this that Nic and I really enjoyed it.” So I got that going for me… which is nice!
